Seven Reasons to Consider Us for All Your Transmission Needs!
1) $100 Challenge From the Owner
I challenge any shop owner or service manager to visit our competition, see how they rebuild their transmissions, see the qualifications of their employees, view their specialized test equipment, general shop procedures, and cleanliness. If you can convince me as to why one of our competitors does a better job, I will personally give you a $100 bill for your trouble.
2) 90 Day Unlimited Mileage, or a one or two year Limited Warranty
90 Day Unlimited Mileage, or a One year 50k, or two year 100k Limited Warranty
Your choice – All transmissions are covered by a limited warranty of 90 days with our half price 2yr pledge, or an OPTIONAL 1yr/50k or 2yr/100k warranty (restrictions apply). For the duration of the warranty period we will do any minor repairs or replace the transmission, at our discretion, in our shop at no charge. If the vehicle is unable to be returned to our shop or the installing shop, buyer must contact Fort Dodge Transmission (1-800-622-4836) to be directed to an Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA) or Automatic Transmission Service Group (ATSG) affiliated shop close to their location for evaluation. We will either have the repairs done there; or ship a replacement unit to them; or, in some cases, require the original unit be returned to us for repairs.
NOTE: All warranty work must be approved by us before starting.
3) Half-Price Pledge on Standard 90 Day Limited Warranty
Our ultimate goal is to produce a long lasting superior product. If workmanship or part failure does occur, it will usually be within the first 90 days of the transmission’s life. So if you chose a 90 day limited warranty, you have our pledge that, if your transmission fails after your 90 day warranty has expired, for the Two Year period commencing with the date of your purchase, a replacement unit will never cost you more than half your original cost. The transmission must be returned to our shop for inspection, repair, or replacement. Our normal limitations still apply. NOTE: This does not renew your warranty, pay any R&R labor, or freight.
4) In-House Torque Converter Rebuilding Facilities since 1987
Though it cost us a lot of money and time to start rebuilding our own torque converters, we felt it was necessary to maintain complete control over the quality of the finished product to our customers.
5) Testing With Loading Capability Dyno
To insure that the transmission works properly before you install it, all transmissions, FRONT and REAR WHEEL DRIVE, are run on a complete 15-20 minute simulated road test to check for correct shift patterns, leaks, lock-up torque converter application, and abnormal noises.
Since we deliver all of our transmissions, we can give you excellent service (usually the next-day within Iowa and southern Minnesota). Also, you pay only one freight charge; any other transmissions or parts ride free on that delivery. There is no charge for core pick up.
7) First Class Personnel
From our senior rebuilders, who all have 15 years experience or more, and throughout our organization, we feel we have some of the finest long-term personnel in the Midwest ready to be of service to you.
